Once a family home our beach front studio is bursting with character from its unique design and colours. Breathtaking sunrises from your bed or deck chair.
Cheerful and breezy, a perfect space to enjoy your holiday, whilst on rainy days you can laze around on the deck or small lounge area or on hot days rest in the comforts of your air conditioned bedroom. Great spot for shell collecting and reef walks .

2 min walk to minimart where you will get all you need for your short stay.
Situated on the rugged coast line of Matavera the beach might not be the best for swimming but still a great place to relax and enjoy the sounds of crashing waves.
Kitchen has all you might need from coffee, cold drinking water , tea sugar milk on arrival. Kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster ,kettle and all cooking utensils ,crockery and cutlery. Fresh herbs in the garden if you like some for garnish.
We also have “leave a little take a little “ practice so feel free to use it.
Enjoy your meals in the dinning area inside, on the deck or the garden or take your cuppa to the beach and enjoy a sunrise.
On our studio walls hang large drone prints of Tokerau Jim’s work of iconic places on the island.
For your entertainment on a rainy day there is a TV
Selection of books and magazines and board games.
Bring along a hard drive or download movies on your devices for rainy days .
Stainless Steel screens on the windows.. The entire studio is air conditioned.

Normal Check In Time is after 2pm and Check Out Time is before 10am — other times by arrangement only and will incur a small fee.
Being the tropics there will be ants around so please do not leave food out and sweep up crumbs
For your convenience, KAPS grocery store is just a few minutes away.
Moorings Takeaways is 3km away for the best fish sandwiches on the island.
Muri is bursting with cafes and you can book a variety of tours from there also.
